B. Active Parks

       Heritage Heights Park
Located on McBurney Drive, this park includes 2 tennis courts and an outdoor rink with lighting until 10:00 p.m. during respective seasons, a ball diamond with backstop, a soccer field, and walking pathways.

       Knights of Columbus Park
Located on Circlebrooke Drive, this park has lighting throughout, permanent benches and walking paths, an activity hill, tennis courts and skate park that are lit until 10:00 p.m. throughout the summer, playground equipment and a ball diamond with a backstop.

       Patrick Park
Located on King Street, this park has horseshoe pits in addition to picnic tables and benches.

       Silver Heights Water Park and Playground
Located on sunset Drive N., this active space is home to an outdoor rink, playground equipment, a tennis/basketball surface, spray pool and walking pathways with benches. Spray pool months of operation (weather permitting) early June till mid September.

       Weinmaster Park
This large park space is located on Morrison Drive in Yorkton and provides a playground structure, an asphalt pad for basketball and assorted games, walking pathways, an activity hill, horseshoe pits and picnic tables and benches. This park also has water and electricity available.

       BMX Park
This is a BMX bike course located east of Columbia School.

       Jackson Park
This park space offers playground equipment and a sun shelter. It is located between 2nd and 3rd Avenue North.

       Jaycee Beach
This large recreational area is located on Gladstone Avenue North and is home to 2 softball diamonds, playground equipment, and washrooms/change rooms with running water, beach volleyball area, swimming and a picnic area.

       Waterloo Park
Located on Collacott Street East, this open park space includes walking pathways, playground equipment and picnic tables.

       Ukrainian Pioneer Park
This park offers walking pathways, playground equipment and a large soccer/lacrosse playing field. This park is also home to the Yorkton Horseshoe Club. It is located between 1st and 3rd Avenue N. in Yorkton.

       Logan Green Park
This natural setting park space is home to the Hearts in Motion Pathway 6 kms of marked trail that is accessible year round for wildlife watching, hiking, cycling, and cross country skiing.

       Ravine Ecological Preserve
Experience the beauty of nature by hiking the 2.8 kms of natural trail at this location on Broadway Street W. Be sure to take in the walk on the boardwalk and experience the water under your feet, the many animals and the natural beauty of the entire area.

       Rodney Ridge
Located on Roslyn Avenue, this park has a bowl type landscape, which is perfect for tobogganing and snowboarding.

       Skate Park
Located on Foster Street, just north of Jubilee Park. This park is where skateboarding enthusiasts can skate to their hearts content in a safe fun filled environment. The skate park is open from May to September of each year depending on the weather. The park has open access and is lit into the evening.

       City Trailer Park
Located on Appleton Drive, this park is home to the Appleton Oval, a winter outdoor skating oval and skating rink.

C. Sports Fields

       Crosswaithe Fileds
Four pitches suitable for soccer, lacrosse and football can be played at this park on Mountview Road.

       Drake Field
Soccer pitch located within Ukrainian Pioneer Park between 1st and 3rd Avenue North.

       Jaycee Beach Diamonds
Two regulation size softball diamonds each with a shale infield, are located between Jaycee Beach Park and Gladstone Avenue North.

       Jubilee Park
The city's main baseball park located on Foster Street which is home to 4 diamonds including w senior (one with grass infield), 1 bantam and 1 pee wee diamond. There is water and electricity available at these sites.

       Lions Ball Park
Located west of the Kinsmen Arena on Catherine Street, this is a competition level softball field with shale infield and lights. The field must be booked through Leisure Services.

       McBurney Field
One soccer pitch is located within Heritage Heights Park on McBurney Drive.

       WDM Tennis Courts
Four competition level tennis courts are open for use at no cost to participants. The facility is located west of Kinsmen Century Field and east of the Western Development Museum.

       Waterloo Field
One soccer pitch encompasses the majority of Waterloo Park, located on Waterloo Drive.

The Kinsmen walking track is 140m rubberized indoor track that is convenient and removed from the elements for walkers and joggers. The centre also features two racquet courts that can be converted for racquetball, squash, handball, wallyball and aerobics.

       Gladstone Driving Range and Mini Golf
Located 1 miles south on the York Lake Road.

       Cherrydale Golf and Country Club
Located 4 miles east of Yorkton on #10 highway, 2 miles south on Cherrydale Road, half mile east. They have a Par 23.27 golf course, campground, showers, fire pit, ball diamond, horse shoes, driving range, nature trails, beach volleyball, in house catering for family and corporate events.
