The Chamber has always been here

For more than a century, the Yorkton Chamber of Commerce has been the voice of business in Yorkton. We have been involved with major economic developments in the city, including the construction of the M.C. Knoll/St. Michaels School and Recreation Complex, Logan Green, the creation of the Business Excellence Award Program "Celebrate Success Awards" Administrative Professionals Banquet, Yorkton Spring Expo, Annual Santa Claus Parade and the Community Signboard. The Chamber recognizes its business members for innovations and contributions to Yorkton.

Action-oriented task forces tackle the issues our members tell us matter most, from fair business taxation to cutting red tape. We have committees who lobby hard for Economic Development, Education, Legislation, Agriculture and Tourism.

The Yorkton Chamber of Commerce promotes opportunities for businesses of all shapes and sizes. We support tourism, research new markets, co-host trade shows and put business in touch with all levels of government. Our links to Chambers across Saskatchewan, Canada, the United states and abroad help members make personal connections in distant markets. The Chamber works closely in creating strong partnerships among business, educators and community.

Through it all, we remain committed to comprehensive planning, regional services and economic growth. We support young people through the Youth Business Institute Program.
